1000mods are a Greek heavy rock band from Chiliomodi, formed in 2006, whose fuzz-drenched stoner and psychedelic sound has made them one of the most respected names in the European underground. Over five studio albums - from the debut Super Van Vacation (2011) to the heavier Cheat Death (2024) - they have toured relentlessly across Europe and North America, sharing stages with acts like The Black Keys, Mastodon and Graveyard. Since April 2024 the band operates as a trio: vocalist/bassist Dani G., guitarist George T. and drummer Labros G.
1000mods released their fifth studio album Cheat Death on November 8, 2024, via Ouga Booga and the Mighty Oug Recordings (worldwide) and Ripple Music (US), recorded as a trio with producer Matt Bayles.
1000mods announced a 'Cheat Death Across Europe Spring 2025' tour with supporting act Frenzee, covering over 30 cities across Europe from March to April 2025.
Founding guitarist Giannis S. departed the band in April 2024, with the split described as amicable; 1000mods continued as a trio.
