Russian rock band Bi-2 bring their symphony orchestra show to Hamburg's Inselparkhalle, performing their best-known songs in full orchestral arrangements.
Bi-2 is a Russian-language alternative rock band founded in 1988 in Bobruisk, Belarus, by Aleksandr "Shura" Uman and Yegor "Lyova" Bortnik. After emigrating through Israel to Australia, the duo broke through on the Russian music scene in 2000 with their self-titled album, whose track "Polkovniku nikto ne pishet" - featured in the film Brat 2 - became a generational anthem. Named Best Rock Act at the MTV Russian Music Awards in 2007, Bi-2 have spent over three decades as one of the most popular rock acts in the Russian-speaking world. Since 2022 the band has performed exclusively outside Russia, continuing to tour Europe and release new material.
Bi-2 released their new studio album "Puteshestviye vokrug Solntsa" (Journey Around the Sun) on March 13, 2026, described as one of the band's most ambitious works.
The band played 39 concerts in 2026 according to Songkick touring data, continuing their intensive schedule outside Russia.
Bi-2 performed the "All The Best" European tour in October-November 2025, with dates in Berlin, Frankfurt, Brussels, Munich, Geneva, Zurich and other cities.
Bi-2 released the compilation "All The Best vol. 1" in February 2024, featuring classic hits in updated arrangements.
Members of Bi-2 were detained in Phuket, Thailand in January 2024 for performing without work visas; they were subsequently deported to Israel rather than Russia.
