Acht Eimer Hühnerherzen is a Berlin-Kreuzberg trio founded in 2018, consisting of Apocalypse Vega (vocals, guitar), Herr Bottrop (bass) and Bene Diktator (drums). The band plays what they call Nylonsaitenpunk - acoustic and semi-acoustic punk built on nylon-string guitar, upright bass and minimal drums, with German-language lyrics that swing between dry irony, melancholy and absurdist wit. With four studio albums released between 2018 and 2025, they have grown into a fixture of the German indie-punk scene and tour relentlessly across the German-speaking world.
