Do You Already Know How Beautiful It Will Be? — Theater RambaZamba, Berlin
Description was written before the event

Do you already know how we will think
Do you already know how we will understand
How we will laugh at what tomorrow brings
and do you still remember how it won't be after all
Everything here as always...
Acht Eimer Hühnerherzen

Siggi Leupold spent the first 49 years of his life in Berlin, playing trombone and watching the intersection of Danziger Straße and Schönhauser Allee. Sometimes he drank a beer with his friends and was happy. Then, just before his 50th birthday, one of his friends - a stranger he had met at Konnopke's - asked him: "Do you already know how beautiful it will be?", and Siggi replied: "No, I don't. But I'd like to find out." Without hesitation, he stepped onto the next tram - cheerful, carefree, and full of ideas for his next trombone solo.

Director Milan Peschel, together with the ensemble and the band Acht Eimer Hühnerherzen, takes a musical approach to the theme at the heart of this theatre - inclusion. They ask: what gives life meaning for actors with disabilities? How do they define happiness? And what is our relationship to the past and the future? Why have so many things from East Berlin lost their place? Is personal identity not bound up with childhood memories? In a city where memories keep disappearing, the company gathers at night, when it grows quiet, to philosophise about life together. The show explores the possibilities and uses of adaptation, the advantages of slowness, and what truly matters.
