Andrei Ioniță is a Romanian cellist who came to international attention after winning the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow in 2015. He performs as both a soloist and chamber musician, working with major orchestras and ensembles across Europe and beyond. His playing is noted for its technical command and expressive depth.
