Annett Louisan (born Annett Päge in Havelberg, 1977) is a German chanson and pop singer who became one of the few artists to achieve mainstream success with German-language chanson. Her 2004 debut album "Bohème" reached platinum within nine weeks - one of the fastest-selling debut albums in German music history - and launched a career spanning over a dozen albums with total sales exceeding 1.7 million records. Her songs, shaped by producer Frank Ramond and songwriters Hardy Kayser and Matthias Hass, blend cabaret wit with sharp observations on love, identity and gender roles.
