The Brucknerhaus is Linz's principal concert hall, opened in 1974 on the banks of the Danube. Named after the Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, it hosts the Bruckner Orchestra Linz, the annual Brucknerfest, and a wide range of classical, jazz, and contemporary music events. The main hall seats around 1,400 and is renowned for its exceptional acoustics.
