Babe Haven is a queer punk band from Durham, North Carolina, founded in Boone, NC in 2021 by guitarist/vocalist Naomi Poesel and lead vocalist Lillie Della Penna. Their sound fuses riot grrrl defiance with nu-metal heaviness, and their lyrics center on resistance, queer and feminist solidarity. The band's 2024 sophomore album "Nuisance" pushed further into thrash and nu-metal territory, earning them spots alongside Mannequin Pussy, Otoboke Beaver and at festivals like Punk Rock Bowling and L7's Fast and Frightening Takeover.
Babe Haven announced a European tour leg for October 2026, with dates in Hamburg, Copenhagen, Berlin, Warsaw, Dresden and Prague.
