BABE HAVEN + LATTER | Warszawa

On November 18th, Babe Haven and Latter - two bands from different corners of the American independent scene - will perform at Warsaw's VooDoo Club.

Babe Haven from North Carolina blend the rebellious spirit of riot grrrl with nu-metal heaviness. They sing about resistance, solidarity, and amplifying queer and female voices. The band has shared stages with Mannequin Pussy, Otoboke Beaver, Soft Play, and Teen Mortgage, and on their recently released album "Nuisance" they even more boldly merged punk, thrash, and nu metal.

Latter is a Chicago-based project balancing between noise rock, performance art, and an experimental approach to sound. Founded by sound artist Meredith Haines and drummer Jonathan Alvarado (Beach Bunny), it has drawn attention for its sound rooted in tension and emotional honesty. Haines guest-appeared on "Despair", the closing track of last year's Crippling Alcoholism album, and the band has already performed with Heart To Gold, WHORES., and Stay Inside.
