About

Blechschaden is a Munich-based brass ensemble founded in 1985 by Scottish hornist and entertainer Bob Ross, who recruited eleven fellow brass players from the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra. The group has won the Echo Klassik award twice - for the albums "Brassomania" (1999) and "Blechschaden in Blech" (2002) - and has given well over 2,000 concerts worldwide. Their repertoire spans baroque to rock, pop, jazz and film music, all delivered with a sharp sense of comedy that blurs the line between classical and popular music.
