About

BRAThANKI is a Polish folk-pop-rock band founded in 1998 by accordionist Janusz Mus, who brought together session musicians with roots in the Polish pop scene. Their debut album 'Ano!' (2000) went four-times platinum in Poland and earned four Fryderyk Award nominations, with the single 'Czerwone korale' topping virtually every Polish chart. The band weaves folk elements from Polish, Hungarian and Czech traditions into a pop-rock framework, and has performed in countries ranging from the USA to Hungary and Sweden.
