About

Cari Cari is a Viennese indie rock duo formed in 2011 by Stephanie Widmer (vocals, drums, didgeridoo) and Alexander Köck (vocals, guitars). Their sound draws on psychedelia, blues, and cinematic Krautrock textures - press has compared them to The Kills, The xx, and Ennio Morricone in the same breath. Rolling Stone named them the standout live discovery of Primavera Sound Barcelona, and their songs have been licensed to US series including Shameless and The Magicians. In 2025 they released their third studio album, One More Trip Around the Sun.
