Cryptic Shift are a technical death/thrash metal quartet from Leeds, UK, active since 2013. Their 2020 debut 'Visitations from Enceladus' - built around the 25-minute epic 'Moonbelt Immolator' - earned them a reputation as one of the leading acts in British extreme metal. In 2023 they signed to Metal Blade Records, and their long-awaited second album 'Overspace & Supertime' arrived in February 2026 to widespread critical acclaim, with Metal Hammer UK awarding it 9/10.
