Proxima is the student club of the University of Warsaw, located on the university campus in the Ochota district. The club has existed since at least 1974 and has been operating in its current form since 1996. It hosts rock and metal concerts by Polish and international artists, as well as student balls and faculty events. The standing-concert capacity of the main hall is approximately 1,000 people.
