Dance Gavin Dance is an American post-hardcore band from Sacramento, California, active since 2005. Their music weaves together math rock, funk, progressive rock and R&B into a sound that has earned them a devoted following under the "Swancore" label - named after guitarist and co-founder Will Swan, the one constant creative force across all eleven studio albums. The band is equally known for a revolving door of vocalists: after Tilian Pearson's departure in April 2024, guitarist Andrew Wells stepped up as co-lead vocalist alongside screamer Jon Mess.
