Der Weg einer Freiheit is a German atmospheric black metal band from Würzburg, founded in 2009 by guitarist and songwriter Nikita Kamprad. Their music blends black metal intensity with post-metal atmosphere, driven by German-language lyrics that explore despair, memory and the darker edges of human experience. Six studio albums on Season of Mist - from Stellar (2015) and Finisterre (2017) through Noktvrn (2021) to Innern (2025) - have built them a devoted following well beyond the underground.
