Eckart Runge

About

Eckart Runge is a German cellist and co-founder of the Artemis Quartet, with which he performed from 1989. The ensemble became one of the most respected chamber groups of its generation, recording a wide repertoire from Haydn to Shostakovich. Runge is also active as a soloist and teacher.
