About
Dr. Eckart von Hirschhausen (born 1967 in Frankfurt) is a German physician, cabaret artist, bestselling author and TV presenter who pioneered what he calls 'medical cabaret' - blending hard science with stand-up comedy. His books 'Glück kommt selten allein' and 'Wunder wirken Wunder' sold millions of copies, and he hosted major ARD knowledge shows for over a decade. In 2023 he stepped back from regular touring to focus on his foundation 'Gesunde Erde - Gesunde Menschen', which addresses climate change as a public health issue; he remains active on stage for select events and as a documentary maker.
