Ed O'Brien - An Evening With… Blue Morpho Tour
Radiohead guitarist Ed O'Brien presents his solo project on the Blue Morpho Tour. An evening of experimental music and artistic experiences.
Ed O'Brien is an English guitarist, songwriter and backing vocalist, best known as a founding member of Radiohead - the Oxford alt-rock band whose albums OK Computer, Kid A and In Rainbows became touchstones of modern rock. After more than three decades devoted entirely to the band, he stepped out on his own in 2020 with the debut solo album Earth (released as EOB), and followed it in May 2026 with Blue Morpho, a more personal record produced by Paul Epworth. Radiohead were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019, and reunited for a 20-date European tour in late 2025 after a seven-year hiatus.
Ed O'Brien released his second solo album, Blue Morpho, on 22 May 2026 via Transgressive Records, produced by Paul Epworth.
O'Brien announced the 'An Evening With… Blue Morpho' seven-date UK and European headline tour for October 2026, featuring Dave Okumu and ESKA.
O'Brien confirmed at SXSW that Radiohead plan to tour again in 2027, with 20 shows per year on a different continent each time.
Radiohead returned to the stage for the first time since 2018, completing a 20-date European reunion tour across five cities.
O'Brien was reported to be deep in the process of recording a new solo album, which would become Blue Morpho.
