About the venue

The Laeiszhalle is Hamburg's historic concert hall, inaugurated in 1908 and named after the shipping magnate Carl Heinrich Laeisz. The neo-baroque building houses two concert halls — the grand Großer Saal and the intimate Kleiner Saal — and serves as the main venue for classical music, orchestral concerts, and chamber music in the city. It is home to the Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra and regularly hosts internationally renowned ensembles and soloists.
