Enei (born Alexey Egorchenkov in St. Petersburg, Russia) is a drum and bass producer and DJ who has been a cornerstone of London's Critical Music label since signing exclusively in 2011. Known for a dark, technically precise sound that spans hard-hitting neurofunk, liquid rollers and jump-up, he won Best Newcomer Producer at the Drum & Bass Arena Awards in 2011 and has released four solo albums, the latest being Countdown (November 2025).
Enei released his fourth studio album Countdown on Critical Music on 28 November 2025, featuring vocalists on seven of its eleven tracks.
Lead single 'Black Bear' from the Countdown album was released on Beatport on 17 October 2025, ahead of the full album drop.
Enei continued releasing new material in 2026, dropping 'Pixelate' (with Spectral) and 'Kerosene' (with QZB) on Critical Music in May 2026.
In June 2026, Enei released 'Shelter' with SOLAH on Hospital Records, marking a collaboration outside his home label Critical Music.
Six months after Countdown, Enei returned with two new dancefloor tracks, described by his Facebook page as 'precision-calibrated dancefloor weapons'.
