A screening of the Russian historical drama "Captain Volkonogov Escaped", a dark story about Stalinist purges in 1938, starring Yuri Borisov.
Viktoriya Tolstoganova (born 24 March 1972, Moscow) is a Russian film, television and theater actress who trained at GITIS under professor Leonid Kheyfets and began her stage career at the Moscow Drama Theater named after Stanislavsky. She is a laureate of the Russian Government Prize in Culture (2005) and has won two Golden Eagle Awards - for the spy thriller «Shpion» (2013) and the TV drama «Palach» (2016). Since 2019 she has been a company member of the Sovremennik Theatre in Moscow.
The drama series «Na ldu» (On Ice), in which Tolstoganova plays the authoritarian coach Alevtina, premiered on the Okko streaming platform on 6 March 2026.
The detective drama «Kapkan na sudyu», with Tolstoganova in the lead role of Natalya Nesterova, had its television premiere on Channel One Russia in late January 2026.
Tolstoganova continues to perform in the play «Papa» at the Sovremennik Theatre in Moscow in 2026.
In autumn 2025, the play «Oskar i Rozovaya Dama» directed by Filipp Gurevich premiered at the Taganka Theatre, with Tolstoganova in the cast alongside Svetlana Ivanova.
Tolstoganova appeared in the film «Gandi molchal po subbotam» (2025), adding another screen credit to an already extensive filmography.
