Eve

About

Eve Jihan Cooper (born Jeffers; Philadelphia, 1978) is an American rapper, singer, and actress who broke through in 1999 when her debut album Let There Be Eve...Ruff Ryders' First Lady hit #1 on the Billboard 200 - only the third female rapper ever to reach that position. Her 2001 single "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" with Gwen Stefani earned her the first-ever Grammy for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, and she went on to build a parallel career in film and television, including her own UPN sitcom and a stint co-hosting CBS's The Talk.
