Fazıl Say (born 14 January 1970 in Ankara) is a Turkish pianist and composer whose playing bridges Western classical tradition with jazz and Anatolian folk music. He won the Young Concert Artists International Auditions in 1994 and has since performed with leading orchestras on every continent. His catalogue of over 100 opus numbers spans six symphonies, two oratorios, and a wide range of concertos and chamber works, all released on labels including Warner Classics and naïve.
Fazıl Say won the 2025 Opus Klassik Award for Solo Recording Instrument of the Year for his album 'Oiseaux tristes' (Warner Classics, 2024).
