About: Fazil Say

A pianist who composes as prolifically as he performs, Fazıl Say draws on Anatolian roots and jazz alongside the classical canon - his recitals are known for their immediacy and improvisatory energy. The 2025 Opus Klassik winner for Solo Recording of the Year, he is Artist in Residence at both the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival and the Gstaad Menuhin Festival in the 2025/2026 season.
