Danielle Gooding, known as Flava D, is an English DJ and producer who has spent over a decade moving fluidly between UK garage, grime, bassline and drum & bass. She broke through via the Butterz label in 2011 and is one third of the supergroup TQD alongside Royal-T and DJ Q. Now signed to Hospital Records, she released her debut drum & bass album Here & Now in September 2025 - a full-circle moment for an artist who bought the label's first mix CD as a teenager.
Flava D released her debut drum & bass album Here & Now on Hospital Records on 5 September 2025, featuring 15 tracks with collaborators including MPH, Unglued, Nu:Tone and Eva Lazarus.
Ahead of the album release, Flava D played a set at Let It Roll festival and created an unreleased track used in the festival's main stage opening ceremony.
Flava D announced Here & Now with the lead single 'Entertainer', a collaboration with Anaïs and Dread MC released in July 2025.
Flava D gave an in-depth interview to Ableton detailing her production evolution from early grime sketches through to her drum & bass debut album.
Flava D toured Australia and New Zealand and played major festivals including Hospitality On The Beach and Boomtown, where she made her debut b2b with SHOSH.
