Dizzee Rascal (born Dylan Kwabena Mills MBE, 18 September 1984, Bow, East London) is a British rapper, MC and producer widely credited as a founding figure of grime. His self-produced debut Boy in da Corner (2003), released when he was just 18, won the Mercury Prize and is regularly cited as the definitive grime album. Over eight studio albums he has moved between raw grime, pop-crossover anthems and back again, collecting a Brit Award for Best British Male (2010) along the way.
