About

Fleetwood Mac are a British-American rock band formed in London in 1967, initially as a blues outfit led by guitarist Peter Green. After multiple lineup changes, the classic five-piece - Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks - recorded Rumours (1977), one of the best-selling albums in history with over 40 million copies sold. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998, the band has sold more than 120 million records worldwide. Following Christine McVie's death in November 2022, the group's future remains open, though surviving members have signalled ongoing activity.
