Free Throw is an American emo band from Nashville, Tennessee, formed in April 2012. Over six studio albums - from the breakthrough debut Those Days Are Gone (2014) through to Moments Before The Wind (2026) - they have built a devoted following in the underground emo scene, touring alongside acts like Hot Mulligan, The Wonder Years and Microwave. Their sound draws on Midwest emo guitar work and melodic punk, anchored by the confessional vocals of frontman Cory Castro.
Free Throw released their sixth studio album, Moments Before The Wind, on March 27, 2026 via Wax Bodega, produced by Brett Romnes.
