Friedrich Thiele is the principal cellist of the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden. Alongside his orchestral role, he performs as a soloist with major ensembles, bringing particular focus to the core cello concerto repertoire, including Elgar's Cello Concerto in E minor.
