Fujiko Nakaya is a Japanese visual artist born in 1933 and a pioneer of fog sculpture. Since the 1970s she has created site-specific works from artificial fog that shift with the surrounding light, wind and landscape. Her installations have been shown at world expositions and major institutions, including the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin.
