Giovanni Antonini is an Italian conductor and flautist, co-founder of the period-instrument ensemble Il Giardino Armonico. He focuses on historically informed performance of Baroque and Classical repertoire and works regularly with major European orchestras. He serves as artistic director of the Wratislavia Cantans festival and is involved in a long-term project to record all of Bach's cantatas featuring recorders.
