About

Glaive (born Ash Blue Gutierrez, January 20, 2005) is an American singer-songwriter from Hendersonville, North Carolina, who broke through as a teenager after posting hyperpop tracks to SoundCloud at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. He signed with Interscope Records in 2020, later went independent, and has since released four studio albums - including the 2024 Vogue best-of pick May It Never Falter and the 2025 album Y'all. Critics at The New York Times, Rolling Stone and The FADER have praised his raw, genre-hopping style that blends emo, trap and DIY pop production.
