About

Glitter Band is a British glam rock group that rose to fame in the early 1970s as the backing band for Gary Glitter. They later struck out on their own, scoring hits like "Angel Face" and "Just for You". Their sound - built on driving drums and catchy hooks - became one of the defining signatures of the glam rock era.
