Happysad is a Polish alternative rock band founded in 2001 in Skarżysko-Kamienna by vocalist and lyricist Jakub "Quka" Kawalec, guitarist Łukasz "Pan Latawiec" Cegliński and bassist Artur "Artour" Telka. Their 2004 debut album "Wszystko jedno" - with the single "Zanim pójdę" spending 33 weeks on Polish Radio Programme 3's chart - was later ranked among the 50 most important albums in Polish rock history by Teraz Rock magazine. Over more than two decades the band has built one of the most loyal live followings in Poland, with five platinum and three gold records to their name.
