Ignite is an American melodic hardcore band from Orange County, California, active since 1993. Their music blends anthemic West Coast hardcore with sharp political and social lyrics - touching on topics from environmentalism to immigration and the legacy of Soviet communism in Eastern Europe. The 2000 album "A Place Called Home" broke them internationally, and after longtime vocalist Zoltán "Zoli" Téglás departed in 2020, the band regrouped with new singer Eli Santana and released their self-titled sixth album via Century Media in 2022. Over three decades they have toured more than 40 countries and remain one of the most respected names in European hardcore circuits.
