Isabelle Faust is a German violinist known for her interpretations of Baroque, Classical, and contemporary music. She rose to international prominence after winning the Yehudi Menuhin Competition in 1987. She has collaborated with major orchestras and conductors, including Claudio Abbado, and her recordings include Bach's Sonatas and Partitas for solo violin.
