Jakob Manz is a German saxophonist born in 2001 who has made a rapid mark on the European jazz scene. With his group The Jakob Manz Project he released the debut album Natural Energy (ACT, 2020) and has since performed at major German jazz festivals including Leverkusener Jazztagen and ELBJAZZ. He has collected numerous awards and is widely regarded as one of the most striking young voices in contemporary German jazz.
