Julia Smirnova

Julia Smirnova is a violinist who studied at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin under Antje Weithaas and Stephan Picard. From September 2025 she is a member of the Munich Philharmonic, combining orchestral work with an active solo and chamber career. Together with pianist Sonja Kowollik she forms the Duo Smirnova-Kowollik.
