Kamijo (born Yuji Kamijo, 1975) is a Japanese singer-songwriter who rose to prominence as the frontman of visual kei bands Lareine and Versailles, the latter a symphonic power metal group he co-founded in 2007 with guitarist Hizaki. Since launching his solo career in 2013, he has built a body of work rooted in French aristocratic history, gothic romanticism and orchestral metal, releasing albums such as Heart (2014), Sang (2018) and OSCAR (2022). He also runs his own label, Chateau Agency, and has performed in over 20 countries.
Kamijo announced an eight-date European solo tour titled 'Sanctuary of Europe' for autumn 2026, spanning Finland, the UK, Spain, France, Germany, Poland and Hungary.
Kamijo announced his first U.S. solo show since relocating to Los Angeles - 'SANCTUS OF THE DAMNED' at The United Theater on Broadway on July 18, 2026.
Kamijo released the best album MASTERPIECE and concluded his 30th anniversary Japan activities with a sold-out grand finale at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA before relocating to Los Angeles.
