Kent Nagano

Kent Nagano is an American-Japanese conductor born in 1951, who has served as music director of the Opéra national de Paris, the Bayerische Staatsoper and the Hamburger Philharmoniker. He is known for championing contemporary music alongside the classical canon. In 2021 he published "10 lekcí mého života" (Berlin Verlag), a personal reflection on the encounters that shaped him - from Frank Zappa to Björk.
