Kölsch im Club
A music night with Kölsch im Club at Carlswerk Victoria, one of Cologne's well-known club venues.
Kölsch is the main alias of Danish producer Rune Reilly Kølsch, born of German and Irish heritage and raised in the Copenhagen hippie commune Christiania. Signed to Cologne's Kompakt label, he built his reputation through a trilogy of autobiographical albums - 1977 (2013), 1983 (2015) and 1989 (2017) - that placed melodic techno on an emotionally charged, orchestral course. His track 'Grey' earned an Electronic Music Awards nomination for Record of the Year in 2017, and a Cercle livestream from the Eiffel Tower that same year drew over 10 million viewers worldwide.
Kölsch announced the 'Kölsch and the Machine' live tour, debuting at Amsterdam Dance Event on October 23, 2025, then continuing to Berlin, London, Paris, Antwerp and Madrid.
Kölsch revealed his sixth studio album 'KINEMA' (Greek for 'movement'), set for release in October 2025 on Kompakt, accompanying the live tour.
Kölsch performed a b2b set with Artbat on the Mainstage at Tomorrowland Belgium 2025.
Kölsch released his fifth Kompakt album 'I Talk To Water', which incorporated home recordings from his late father's musical archives.
