About

KOMBII is a Polish pop-rock band formed in spring 2003 by Grzegorz Skawiński (guitar, vocals), Waldemar Tkaczyk (bass) and Jan Pluta (drums) - three former members of the legendary 1980s group Kombi. The name spells out "Kombi II" (the double-i standing for the Roman numeral two), signalling both continuity and a fresh start. Their 2004 debut album C.D. went double platinum in Poland and earned them a Superjedynka award; over five studio albums they have built one of the most loyal fanbases in Polish pop-rock. In 2026 Skawiński and Tkaczyk mark 50 years of working together, a milestone the band is celebrating with a jubilee tour.
