About

The Landesjugendorchester Sachsen-Anhalt is a youth symphony orchestra from the German state of Saxony-Anhalt, founded in 1992. Twice a year, young musicians aged 13 to 23 gather to study and perform demanding works from the symphonic repertoire. The ensemble is directed by Michael Wendeberg, with support from tutors drawn from professional orchestras in central Germany.
