Lora Szafran (born 24 July 1960 in Krosno) is a Polish jazz vocalist widely regarded as one of the finest in her field. She graduated with distinction from the Jazz and Pop Music Department of the Music Academy in Katowice in 1986, and built her reputation through collaborations with leading Polish jazz ensembles - first Walk Away, then the acoustic jazz group New Presentation. Over a career spanning four decades she has released nine albums, won the Grand Prix and Bursztynowy Słowik at the Sopot Festival (1990), and received the Bronze Medal for Merit to Culture - Gloria Artis in 2015.
Szafran appeared as a featured artist on the single 'Panie Jazz' released in 2025.
Szafran performed a concert in Warsaw on 12 December 2025 with the programme 'I tak się trudno rozstać' (Wars, Szpilman, Wasowski).
Szafran performed at the Love Polish Jazz Festival in Tomaszów Mazowiecki on 21 September 2024.
Szafran gave a concert at WSK in Warsaw on 24 February 2024.
