Ludovico Einaudi (born 23 November 1955 in Turin) is an Italian pianist and composer who studied under Luciano Berio and Karlheinz Stockhausen before developing a signature style that blends minimalism, ambient textures and neoclassical melody. His albums - from Le Onde (1996) through Divenire, In a Time Lapse and Underwater - have repeatedly topped the UK Classical Chart, and since January 2022 he holds the title of the most-streamed classical artist of all time on Spotify. His music appears in acclaimed films including The Intouchables and Nomadland, and he performs roughly 80 concerts a year in arenas and historic concert halls worldwide.
