Westhafen Season Closing
Season-closing party at Westhafen club featuring a stellar lineup of DJs and electronic artists.
Marcel Dettmann (born 26 October 1977 in Pössneck, Germany) is a Berlin-based techno DJ, producer, and label owner who has held a residency at Berghain - and its predecessor OstGut - since 1999. His sound draws on the raw, industrial pulse of Detroit and Chicago techno, refined through years behind the counter at the legendary Hard Wax record store. Beyond the DJ booth, he runs two labels (MDR and Bad Manners Records), contributed music to Lana Wachowski's 'The Matrix Resurrections', and has collaborated with the Berlin State Ballet.
Dekmantel released the 'Fear of Programming Remixes' EP featuring reworks by L.B. Dub Corp, SHERELLE, Dopplereffekt, Interstellar Funk, and JASSS.
Dettmann performed at Northcote Theatre in Melbourne alongside Carl Craig and Moodymann in a one-off show.
Dettmann played a set at Under Club in Buenos Aires, continuing his regular South American touring.
Dettmann released 'Fear of Programming', his first solo album in nearly a decade, on Dekmantel Records.
Dettmann contributed to the soundtrack of Lana Wachowski's 'The Matrix Resurrections'.
