Martial Canterel is the solo project of New York-based musician Sean McBride, known for his work in the minimal synth and cold wave scene. The project draws on 1980s synth-pop and post-punk aesthetics, blending drum machines with melancholic synthesizer lines and deadpan vocals. McBride is also a member of the duo Xeno & Oaklander.
