🎤 Matthew Herbert

About

Matthew Herbert is a British musician and producer known for his work at the intersection of electronic music and jazz. He builds compositions from recorded everyday sounds - field recordings, found objects, political gestures - turning them into intricate, often conceptual pieces. His album "Goodbye Swingtime" is a notable example of his approach to big band music filtered through an experimental lens.
