Matthias Brandt is a German actor and son of former Chancellor Willy Brandt. He is best known for playing detective Hanns von Meuffels in the long-running crime series Polizeiruf 110. Beyond acting, he regularly performs literary and musical evenings together with pianist Jens Thomas.
